Oh, my...the updating that must be done to my gallery! I posted some photos from previous shoots, but that is not nearly enough to make up for the time I've spent away from my gallery, my portfolio, and most of all, my craft. I've been into all sorts of things lately. Holding down a "real" job, mostly, and making things. I am now going to be making and selling masks, shoes, and whatever else my brain can think up, on Etsy. I cannot believe it's taken me this long. I recently made an elaborate "Labyrinth"-inspired mask for one of my photo shoots (as a model) and there's no going back. I can see this being a new addiction, a new creative outlet to take my emotions out on. Dig it.

I also started a 365-Day photo project on Flickr, taking still life, nature photos, etc. rather than the usual glamour portraits that I shoot. Since I knew I couldn't commit to taking one photo and posting it every single day for an entire year, I made it so that it'll just be 365 photos, from 365 different days. Yes, the project may lose some of its meaning then, sure. Do I care? No. My photo project, my rules, muahaha. So far, it's been pretty fun, relaxing and inspiring, when I have the time to devote to it. Maybe I will share this project with you guys sometime...in the future...when I'm more confident about it.

OH, and thanks to all of my new watchers and those of whom have "favorited" my work! I appreciate you all so much! <3

It's past 4AM. I haven't stayed up this late in ages. I can't believe it. So much has changed since I first created this account, and I feel the updates to come should showcase those changes. I have some shoots lined up during the next few months, so expect to see great things. Until then, when I have more time, I'll be updating my gallery with some modeling shots to tickle your fancy.

Life is on the up and up, things are great. I'm gearing up for Summer and all the crazy adventures and changes it entails!

I am back and better than ever. I apologize for my long absence and inactivity. I have a bunch of photos from a few new shoots to post, and I have even more shoots scheduled this Autumn! I am excited to update my gallery and create an almost-fresh start with a new level of work. I'm definitely trying to push my boundaries this year with my photography, editing and writing.

Just finished an all-day photo shoot with my best friend, Kimberly Pierce. You may remember her from shoots past. We did some experimenting, and I have almost 500 photos on my hands to choose from. Oh, boy! So, in the weeks to come, I'll be posting this new shoot, as well as some older shots I'm still working on posting. Sorry for the disorganization that will be my gallery, but that's just how things work out sometimes.

I hope all is well with my watchers! Has anyone seen the new Lady Gaga video, Telephone? If so, what did you think of it?

Slowly but surely, I'm getting back into my art, and it feels glorious. There's been a lot of struggle in my life lately, over the past year or so, and I've been distracted. There comes a time when you have to forget about yourself and sacrifice your art, to focus on your family and work on building relationships. Now that I've got that under control, I can start to focus on my photography and writing again.

Also, I was dancing again for a bit with a local troupe, so that took up a lot of my time also. Time that was WELL worth it, though, and I will continue to dance, because it's just in my blood. *It's exhausting loving so many things, and so many people! GEEZ! Ha ha.*

I'll be updating my gallery during the next few weeks, and hopefully, come Spring, I'll be doing new shoots, collaborating with other friends, models, etc. That was something I planned on doing last year, but didn't have time to work on. Now, in this new decade, I'm striving to get better, hoping to spend more time studying and practicing, to improve my craft...and to improve myself. I've come the the conclusion that photography nor modeling will ever be my main career, but I will do it on the side and make it another big part of my life with a smile.

(AHHH, I CAN'T BELIEVE I'M 20!!!)

Sorry for staying away so long! Life has been hectic and changing. An ever-twirling whirlwind.
